Kirk will review the new features in Delphi 7 and how it fits into the Microsoft .NET
architecture. He'll discuss how developers can use it to both migrate their
existing applications to .NET as well as build new .NET applications.
He will also lead a brief discussion on how Borland development tools will evolve
over the next 12 months and what the implications will be for developers now and in the future.
Kirk Farquhar is the Diector of Systems Engineering for Borland Canada Inc.
and is responsible for pre-sales engineering staff. Prior to joining Borland,
he was the Systems Engineering Manager for Santa Cruz Operation for both N.A.
Channel Sales and the Canada/Latin America/Pacific Rim. Mr. Farquhar was the
founder and VP-Engineering of Infinity Systems Inc., a Markham based systems
integration and development firm prior to joining SCO.
