Discussion Groups

June Meeting will be a chance to network and learn from each other.
Pizza and soft drinks will be served at the start of the meeting.
For the first 20 to 30 minutes of the meeting we will break in to
groups of 8 to discuss a series of questions (see below). At the end
of the discussion session one member of each
group will briefly present their finidings. (We will ensure that each
group has at least one member who will be comforatble presenting) The
groups will then be reformed and the process will be repeated.
Below are some of the possible questions. We can start the meeting by
choosing which questions to discuss. New questions may be added as the
meeting progresses.
- What projects do you not use Delphi on where others might. Why?
- Objects, do you use them and where?
- Development Environment: Directory structure, Ide?
- Physical work environment what do you have that you cann't do without?
- What libraries do you would recommend, tell others to avoid; we can put a poll at our site?
- Describe your favorite component that you have purchased?
- Documentation: Who does it, technical vs user, what does it entail?
- What tips do you want to share with the group?
- Where do you go to get your questions answered?
- Installing Applications: Initial install & Updates?
- What bugs are you still finding using Delphi?
- What is your best debugging technique?
- How do you test your applications?
- How can we improve TDUG?
