This meeting will consist of a Panel of Experts on Client Server Development with a moderator.

The goal is for more audience and speaker participation. Each panel member will discuss a topic for 10 to 20 minutes. Michael Li will look at TTable vs TQuery focusing on how to issue SQL statements to the server and how to use parameterized SQL. If time permits Michael will also give us a quick demo of InternetExpress which is new in Delphi 5. George Aligianis will discuss issues to do with replication.

Following the discussions the moderator will ask a questions that have been sent in by members or other speakers before the meeting. After the prepared questions we will open the floor to the audience.


Michael Li is the president and founder of InfoCan Management Consultants Group (Canada) Inc., specializing in enterprise, Client/Server and Internet training and consulting services.

He has been using Delphi since it came out and has worked with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Interbase and Sybase. He has his Microsoft Certified Professional Certification in Administering and Implementing Database Designs in Microsoft SQL Server.
