The Conveyancer is already used in more than 3000 Canadian law firms and is loaded with features that save time and effort producing documents and managing real estate files.

Description

The IS Do Process Team is looking for a Senior Delphi Developer. The role involves full life software development including design, development, implementation and support of Do Process software applications. This also includes participation in the testing process.

Report To: Senior Manager, Do Process

Responsibilities

  • Design module specifications as per the overall system design
  • Conduct module testing
  • Develop and maintain application code
  • Troubleshooting software problems and identifying and implementing solutions
  • Participate in integration and regression testing
  • Prepare technical documentation.
  • Implement security policies as set out by Teranet

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in systems development with 2+ years in Internet environment
  • Excellent command on concepts, practices, and procedures of systems
    development life cycle. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and
    accomplish goals

Interpersonal and Technical Skills

  • Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have good organization, analytical, and decision making skills.
  • Must be a good team player with a positive attitude
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, has good problem-solving skills and can meet tight deadlines

Systems Environment

Multi-tier client/server and e-commerce solutions, RUP (development methodology), Rational suite of products to manage development life cycle, Delphi desktop application, MS SQL Server, XML, XSLT, CSS, XSD, html, Apache, Weblogic, PHP and JavaScript. Working knowledge of Delphi, Visual Studio and Web Services is an asset.

Delphi, ASP.NET, C# .NET, VB .NET, ADO.NET, Visual Studio .NET, SQL, IIS, Infragistics and ClearQuest

Operations

ITIL, COBIT, BMC Software

Working Conditions

  • This position will work primarily at a Do Process location or as assigned
  • Occasionally may have to work extra hours as dictated by delivery schedules
  • Required to carry a pager for 7/24 on-call support rotations
